What is an event, and how is it different from a market?

An event is the top-level prediction question or occurrence.

An event may contain one market or multiple related markets.

A market is the specific tradable outcome within that event.

For example, “Ecuador vs. Germany” may be one event, with separate markets for Germany, Draw, and Ecuador.

Each market may have its own Buy Yes and Buy No prices, but for risk control purposes, all markets within the same event may be grouped together
